| May 4, 2002 | Had a problem several times where it wouldn't start. I thought it seemed like a battery problem, but after talking with a friend I discovered it was a contact in the starter solenoid that was worn out. Replaced the contact and it fires every time now. | |
| May 29, 2002 | Purchased a fuel pressure gauge from Briar Hopper ( website) to check for the dreaded lift pump problem. I tested mine and it was dead. Took it to the Dodge dealer and they replaced it under warranty! ~97,300 miles. | |
| June 21, 2002 | Truck temp went up to 240 a few times while towing my Bronco to Tennessee. It would spike up to 240, then come right back down.
Must be higher outside temps causing it.
It didn't do this the last few times I towed. Still looking for the problem.
Brake light and ABS light are on most of the time. I'm suspecting a bad sensor or wires at the rear diff. | |
