In February 2004 I picked up a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 that was completely dissasembled. It had been sitting in a barn for 10 years and he was forced to sell it. I picked it up for $1500 and it included tons of new parts that were worth more than that.
It sat in a stall in a barn for a long time. Most of the parts were in boxes up in the loft.

I finally got time to drag it home. It only took 2 trucks, a trailer, 5 friends and a complete day to get it all home.

The body and motor went in the back of the garage and all the boxes and boxes of parts went to the basement. I started to dig thru the boxes and found tons of brand new parts and other goodies. The seats have been recovered and look like brand new. A lot of parts are good and a lot will need to be repaired or replaced.
